What is Graviteq Rope Access?

Graviteq is a specialist rope access Company proudly Australian owned and operated.

Graviteq’s headquarters are located in Perth, WA, they also have world-class rope access training facilities in Brisbane.

Rope Access is a means of gaining access and carrying out tasks where conventional access methods are either not possible or practicable

Rope Access NDT Inspection

Graviteq rope access technicians are common-place on offshore platforms carrying out maintenance and inspection programs. This is largely due to the mobility of the technicians negating the need for massive amounts of scaffold. A fact, which is emphasized in cyclone season when scaffolds are kept minimal to allow a hasty pack up when required.

Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection is a great example of cost efficient use of rope access/NDT systems within industry. As the actual inspection is a relatively quick process, having a highly mobile Graviteq Rope Access inspection crew could yield great, cost effective results from a self contained team.

A common misconception about rope access is that being suspended by rope is a ‘risky’ business . We are governed by IRATA (International Rope Access trade association) which over the last 30 years has projected the concept of rope access to the highly safety orientated specialized trade that it is today.

Graviteq’s safety systems are regularly audited by independent IRATA auditors. IRATA membership is a sign of quality and gives peace of mind to our Clients that we are compliant with IRATA’s International Code of Practice.

Graviteq are conversant with local and national legislation and are working closely with working at height associations to maintain a high standard of safety across industry.

Many tradesmen/women utilise rope access skills, some of Graviteq employees include: NDT techs, riggers, mechanical fitters, boilermakers, welders, painter/ blasters just to name a few.

Perth Rope Access Training

Graviteq’s rope access training facility in Perth opened in 2018 and they continue to offer quality training all over Australia. Their operations division

wish to push the concept of rope access further by continuing to achieve consistent results with an exemplary safety record.
